MARK IS MINATOMIRAI (MINATOMIRAI 21 District Block 34, Yokohama City), a Mitsubishi Estate Group commercial facility had its grand opening on Friday 21st June. The facility, which houses 189 stores, is the largest in MINATOMIRAI 21. The 5th floor rooftop has been converted into MINNANO NIWA, a 1000m² fruit and vegetable garden. GREEN WISE manages the green spaces and events in MINNANO NIWA as well as the other green spaces in MARK IS MINATOMIRAI.

MINNANO NIWA fruit garden has 22 types of citrus fruits (the highest* number of cultivars in rooftop gardens in Japan) including Shonan Gold which was developed right here in Kanagawa Prefecture as well as figs, grapes, berries and herbs.* Source: Green Wise
The vegetable garden has over 78 types of vegetables and herbs grown organically and we plan to hold over 100 ‘experience nature’ events each year such as seed sowing.
Green Wise proposes green activities (experience-based events) to enhance green space management techniques and utility value and provides high quality time and space in which many people can come into close contact with nature and enjoy a connection with nature with peace of mind.
